"This place is magic. It has such an incredible view that we never found anywhere else on the lake, which drew us to want to spend more time at the villa. Truly the photos do not do it justice. Romina and her husband are readily available and eager to help with anything. The local restaurants and cafes are excellent, the lake access here is one of the best on the lake - and if you’re an active person you can easily walk to the water from the house. Otherwise it’s just a quick drive. Thanks to Romona and her husband for a wonderful gift to our family on this vacation, and we truly hope to come back someday!"

"This was our first visit to Lake Como. We are delighted to have chosen Perla Del Lago for our stay. The views of the lake and moubtains from the villa are amazing. There are lots of great restaurants within a short walk. Romina kindly provided a list of recommended restaurants, all of which were excellent. The villa is large and immaculate. The pool and garden are well maintained and we enjoyed shady spots to relax. Highly recommended."

We had a wonderful week staying in Villa Perla del Lago. The views over the lake and mountains are genuinely breathtaking - none of us felt ready to leave! The house has been beautifully restored - lying in bed looking up at the Liberty style painted ceilings was a pleasure. The house is both immaculately clean and comfortable. As a family we all enjoyed relaxing in the pool and the hot tub! The kitchen is very well equipped and there's a great charcoal bbq in the garden. Having the shade of the covered part of the terrace to enjoy family meals looking out over the lake was lovely. Romina's local restaurant recommendations were also excellent. Romina has been fantastically responsive and both she and Fabio were very kind and welcoming. We really enjoyed the vibe of Vercana/Domaso. We did a couple of day trips but the boys' favourite thing was Romina's recommendation to locally hire a boat to see the lake - they loved leaping in for a swim! Grazie mille Romina and Fabio.

"Exquisite! This villa is beyond comparison to anything else where we have stayed. It is immaculate, comfortable, spartan, well cared for and sits above Domaso with an incredible view. Walking distance just about everywhere on cobble stoned pathways that exude charm. All of the kitchen amenities that anyone could want, a pool that is wonderfully refreshing, a pergola that makes meals outside a lovely experience. Private and wonderful. The owner Romina went out of her way to make our week at Villa Perla del Lago very special with excellent recommendation for food, restaurants, walks and a bit of history. She is a lovely, warm host. We will be back."
